Hi,thanks for replying, the pre-formed links are very small. Dry brushing is an idea though but my eyesight is brilliant lol. I have a big magnifying glass with surrounding light to help me. Appreciate your ideas though, cheersHi and welcome mate, your story is pretty much the same for most of us here, eg: used to build kits, life / work got in the way so we stopped, then we retired and started up again, Lol.
Enjoy the forums buddy, lots of good info and helpful peeps on here.
Can't offer any expert help with the ship I'm afraid, not really my thing.
But do you mean the anchor chain is pre formed on the ships hull? if so, you could try masking around it, or maybe try dry brushing it, or using a very fine, very small brush with steady hands just painting it offhand, etc to avoid getting paint on surrounding area's?
I'm sure someone will be along with better advice soon....
Cheers
Thanks very much for replying, cheersWelcome to the party
There's a few on here that do floaty boaty things...., one is bound to be along soon with an answer
Ok thanks very much for the info,i will look into it,very much appreciated, thanks again.Makeup foam is firm enough so a very light touch with almost no paint on it will work wonders picking out the highlights. You would need to get it from a user though, as to buy it, I've only seen it in bulk.
Thank you ,looking forward for a lot of help in the future.Hi and welcome to the forum.
