That is some model boatman well done,one question if you don't mind. How to get your hull red looking so good. I have a spraycan of hull red for mine rather than airbrush because of the size of the hull. I think i would of had nightmares doing your hull. WELL the hull red is just red car primer in a rattle can bought from a car shop as ive always painted my big R/C ships as built a near 9 feet long scratchbuilt model to sail of the USS NIMTIZ CVN 68 NUACLER AIRCRAFT CARRIER AN that big hull did take some sprayin used up 4 big rattle can of red car primerThat is some model boatman well done,one question if you don't mind. Thanks for the welcome Geoff,my first build for years so its like starting over again buying all new gear etc. Just started my build so trying to be careful. I have seen some amazing builds on this forum so don't want to embarrass myself. I know it's a faff, but I've seen several modellers who file off the moulded chains and replace them with real chain obtained from model boat suppliers. Not done it myself, but just a thought.
