Ahhh...sorry, I'm here one more time... ;)

I can't resist to see the pics again, and imagine a walk around the rooms...

You are doing an exceptional build of possibilities!

PS:I'm wishing to start a build with wood, and seems some members are leaving the plastic for a while... interesting!

Hmm interesting this. Pass the popcorn.

Oh my God!!

Styrene.... The soil too? :) :) :)

I'm a disaster!!

This look's like it could be the town scene from "The Great Escape", I wonder if MacDonald will fall for the "Good Luck" line again... ;)

Small update, these arrived today and will be used on the dio.
The Bronco car is the same as in my "secret trip" diorama. Is very funny to do, just take care with the front wheels, are quite complicated.

Hope you paint in gold option ;)

Hi Polux thanks for the advice on the wheels, will make sure I take real care and attention on them ;)

Hi John thanks for the comments buddy, got a little more done on the wooden floors for the buildings, and managed to panel the walls in wood also, these coffee stirrers are great, looking forward to doing more with them in the future :D

Quick update on where I'm at, managed to panel inside the main building of the railway station as well as the wooden floors of all of the buildings, these coffee stirrers are simply amazing!

You know you can still get wooden lollipop sticks if you need something a little wider .....

Very nice piece of scratch building Tommy. I've been keeping tabs on this since day one of the build, so it's about time I posted something....

I do like the thin cork stone work, at least I think that's what it is...

Excellent use of every day stuff.

Hi Ron thanks for that, yes it is the thin cork, it`s the first time I`ve used it, and I don`t think it will be the last either;)

Cheers for that Dave, I will keep that in mind, I didnt know you could get them:oops: just thinking what they could be used for, got me thinking now buddy.

Quick update on the dio, a little more was done on the base, this being the slabs at the front of the railway station and the platform itself.

These were made out of that fabulous material...cork!

The coffee stirrers were put to good use again on the inside of the main building, on the walls as wooden panelling, often seen in old buildings of that time.

The platform frontage was added using a resin product I found on the internet, and found them to be very warped but this was easily sorted out with hot water.

Anyway this is where it's at, hope you like it.

Looks fantastic tom , I'm using coffee stirrers for a floor in a dio I'm working on at the moment and it's the first time I've used them and if mine come out half as good as yours I'm going to more than happy :)

Thanks Alan to be honest its my first time using the coffee stirrers also, I think they are great things to use.

Thinking about building a news paper stand/cubicle out of them for the dio.
