HI all with the help from Chris (Boatman onto this forum, , joined on Saturday , my hobby interest is model trains and always interested in model boats as well, I also have other projects I will share as I go along, the next is aircraft, the 737 fuselage first started it's life on the rails from West to East coast of America, have built a 737/700 out of cardboard and some plaster, will post some pics later , .

The project I am working on now is a Ro, Ro ship has 4 cargo decks , the ships name is Corona Sea, I fell in love with the design a few years back and managed to get hold of some DWG plans , the ships hull is nearly finished, see out of 1 mm cardboard, will be a part of my layout, only a water line model , I plan to build a second RC model later this build is a learning curve.

I have already stated a thread in model ships under construction and post pics of my build in different stages, she is 2.160 metres in length and a 305 mmm beam is about 14 inches high for the water line, I look forward to joinin in on other threads.

I live in SE/QLD down under.., hope every is copping ok from this bad virus we have tough restrictions here an't travel .

Tony, a slightly late welcome from me.
The boating fraternity is growing very nicely on here, so it's good to have another around.

I made a model of a Scottish Car Ferry out of card on here a while back. Good fun, but a test of patience at times, that's for sure!

Stay safe.

Tony, as you've requested some pics.
The trouble is, it might not be of any use to you as the card model is only 11" long!

Here's one picture anyway....
