Tony, as you've requested some pics.
The trouble is, it might not be of any use to you as the card model is only 11" long!

Here's one picture anyway....

If you want to see more, go to 'Forum' at the top of the page. Scroll down to 'Ships and Boats' Click on 'Ships Completed' and she's there on page two (at the bottom)

I look forward to seeing your models.

Stay safe.
Ron

Hi monica, I am itching to see some of your model pics, wish I can get my wife interested in the hobby, she will help if I ask her to hold something as far as it goes, I started on the garden railway 5 years back but thanks to us shifting I had to scrap those plans and start with a new plan which is coming along.

I put the bridge into the railway chat .

You like cars so does my cousin,we don't have animals now, did have a small dog at the old place she had to b put down sadly had cancer, she lived to 17 years, wouldn't get a dog now at our age.

I suffer with an immune system issues why I have asthma heart issues aneurysms and so on, shouldn't be going out either, need to get out even going to appointments which my wife has one tomorrow.

I wan't to get back to the ship build so I can finish off the sides of the stern section, then I can start work on the bulkheads and keel of the third and final section , can't wait to finish the hull build.

Take care Tony

Late morning Monica, how are you and family going with these restriction, we still have them for another month, can't go anywhere, will miss mothers day,and hopefully restrictions are lifted by July .

Yeah get that with the model trains some people saying they are toys which they a re not, some of my locos cost over $300 at the low end of the scale some locos can be up in the $1000 back over my head.

I have had a busy few days buying more bug spay can't get found bug powder seams to be working seams to be working will get some more, bought two long pots to pot freesia bulbs and bought two desert rose plants they have a very nice flower great for pots getting two large pots .

Yeah I used to collect the old airfix models too when I was younger had them on shelf's, had a big 72nd model of a B52 wow my pride and joy was huge, hate to think how big she be in a larger scale.

You now can check in model railway section in layouts under construction, my layout's name is Tm'ozdell, will have to think of a better name and bridge is in General chats of MR .

I worked on my model ship last night will take some pics of the new progress. starting to look more like the ships stern of the ship I am modelling, still a hell of a lot more work adding detail, will continue after the last hull section is built, lucky there isn't a lot of fine detail in that section.

I still can't find where you are, could you send me a link of your thread, sometimes I save the thread I am interested in .

Take care Tony

Hi Ron, many thanks that is an awesome build being only 11 inches long , what scale is it .

I have also built a Boeing 737/700 series fuselage for model train load, well the 737's and 757's started there life on flying the rails from from the west to theast coast of the USA, I plan to build the 737/800 series out of cardboard as well, building 6, will start a tread in the aircraft section.

Take care Tony

Keen to see your 737 fuselage Tony. Everyone loves the 737. Well, the older versions anyway.

Banged a lot of rivets on them also....100s, 200s, 291s, and 300s. just to name a few. Rick H.

Maybe your rivet work is still in operaton Rick. What's a 291?

PS sorry for calling you Mike earlier... long working days/nights, brain is fried.

A 291 was a series of Boeing 737 that had a few different features than the standard 200. The most visible being the Logo lights located at the wingtips that were aimed at the tail to illuminate the Airline Company's logo at night (Whoop de Doo) I'm sure there were other more important improvements but I never paid much attention. Hi Rick , I had a look about the 737 291 was hopping to have a night pic not so, anyway great the forum is back , I haven't being able to get on for a few days, Chris be happy, here is a couple of pics of my second 737/700 series, going to turn it into a freighter no windows.

The cardboard wasn't a success, paint should of being lighter, next lot be built out of polystyrene plastic sheeting. 587a48889fae0_001a.jpg.0ae249d817bf6e2672ce18e28ceec6db.jpg587a48842892d_001a.jpg.1e985f7b909dd921d98e69d7b37f8581.jpg I also now have plans to go by, have to get them printed out are in PDF files.

My ship build has progressed some more, have glued two bulkheads in place and five more to cut out and the hull is complete, gee started planning the project 2014 .

More progress on the bridge as well, see how I go for time tomorrow afternoon after I take my wife to the doc's, if not will finis cutting the last arch end section for the bridge.
