Nice to see some progress on this Francesco. You have a lot of work if you are to complete that list of missing things.
Well,

Many of them are already done, still missing to redo the seats.

Looking at the picture of the internal wall I think I should spend more time on it to make it perfect (some more sanding needed, especially on the recessed part between the ribs). However most of it will be hidden by the seats (and scale), what would you guys do?

Well, don't need to wait for mine then.

Here's one from Roman (Vajled):

Tail almost complete with some washing:

I just added the two grids at the top and base of the fin. Still have to retouch around the bottom grid as the aluminum sheet is not holding the paint. Even the primer I used detached in micro parts and covered the whole tail (that was a mess to remove). If you have any suggestions on how to do this please let me know.

All in all I'm quite satisfied with the results (I said quite, not fully :) but as first model I can't really complain.

Comments anyone?

Francesco

Looks good. Unsure how to get paint to stick to the aluminium sheet. Enamels perhaps might adhere better than acrylics to such a surface?

great work francesco, loving the scratchbuilt grilles , cheers tony

Any metal will need a coat of acid etch primer (can be bought from a local motor factors) prior to painting, if not enamels, spray paint etc will just not adhere and will flake and chip.

Looking good mate, like this a lot.

Hello mates,

I'm back to close this two years and two months WIP.

Being my first kit since I'm back to the hobby and my first WIP here, I forced myself to complete this with all my usual mistakes (windows, windshield and transparent finishing), half brush and half airbrush painted.

Well, here some open air pictures, no studio and gallery this time.

Hope you like it,

Francesco
