Here is something I have often wondered if there was a kit of.http://www.accurate-armour.com/ShowProduct.cfm?manufacturer=0&category=14&subcategory=25&product=568

I spent time in Germany where they operated from. At this price I think I would have to save quite a bit.

I'd rather have the Landing craft/Assault ship they do. In 1/35 scale... Its erm rather large. and rather pricey and only made to order... o.O

I can see where your coming from Ian but for me it is a bit of my childhood where I once had a funny incident. My mate and I used to fish the river weser along he stretch the M2's used. One day we were fishing off the launch ramps when I knocked by bicycle in to the water. This caused a few problems as yours truly had to decide wether to walk home and tell the old man. Or go to the local barracks and let them know what had happened. I chose option one as it was a weekend and there wasn't much chance they would use the ramps. Needless to say when I told him the brown stuff hit the fan for me anyway. After rollocking me he phoned the camp and told them what I had done. It cost him a crate of beer to have the divers go down and retrieve the bike and a warning for me not to fish there again.

LOL. I remember the days of bicycle fishing trips..... nowadays, I can hardly get the gear into a car! lol

And what did you learn of your illicit trips to the Army ramps.....First; don't park the bike, close to the edge, second don't tell ya dad about it.

Cracking looking kit, it's always a bummer when things are out of reach like that but patience only makes it better when you do get a hold of it

Ian if I could have got away with sayin nowt I would have. Had I of said nothing I would have had to explain where the bike was. Apparently if one of he M2's gone in over the bike it would have fouled the screws.

But at least your dad would have found the bike that got knicked while you was fishing.

We were little sods when I think back now. We would sit on the bank using bait catapults loaded with lead split shot to pick off passing canoeists and barge crew. Did they shout HELL yeah they did and on more than one occasion we had to pack up and run for it.
