I used to keep my paints in a medium sized sandwich box but got fed up with going through them all to find the right one. So I took a trip to my local Range store and purchased a cheap picture frame only £4.99 with an MDF back board. I also bought an 'L' shaped piece of battening cut it to size and glued it to create a shelf. I already had some glass plates which I used to fix it to the wall. So all in all I think it's a cheap way of storing my paints and making them easily accessible to use.

Thinking about it I would imagine that a dartboard cabinet/case, could make a great paint locker.... Hmm.

What a coincidence Vaughan. I had the same frustration which attacked me every time paint came up.

Buzzed off to B & Q & there they had cheap hardboard & slats of softwood. Slapped together with a load of staples. Now I sit looking at it with pleasure.

Hangs on the garage door so it can be removed if needs be. Notice the insulation on the garage door which has kept me warm during the winter.

Nice one Vaughan. Vallejo sell these storage shelves. Mine was about £12 for the two. Add a nought for the Vallejo types.

Andy they do sell the frames in various sizes but the one I bought was on offer at 40% off

Or build three narrow ones & fix together in a triangle. Then put three small castors on the base.
