Here is my completed Panhard AML-90 :smiling2:
This is my first build in probably 55-60 years, but I have thoroughly enjoyed building it, perhaps built a little too quickly, but you know how it is, the first one must get completed.
The kit itself was quite detailed, with some very fiddly bits to contend with, that did prove a little challenging at times. Some of the parts were a little awkward to fit, which no doubt was down to my lack of skill.
As this is intended to be placed in my display cabinet with my military stuff, I decided against weathering, as I was looking for a more parade ground look. The interior however is never on display on parade, so it got a little wear added to best of my ability.
Thanks for looking
Garry

Well that's a very good start back into modelling after all them years mate:thumb2:

That’s looking rather nice. The next one will be on campaign, weathered and worn enough that you can barely recognise what vehicle it actually is? :)

Thanks Jakko, I have yet to decide what to build next.

Yep,I gotta agree with the guys..... very nice re introduction to the hobby Garry:thumb2:,
Sometimes it`s a refreshing change to see something modelled without having the living daylights weathered out of it....... and this is certainly one of those times:cool:,
I look forward to seeing your next choice of build,
Nice one mate,
Andy

Thank you for your kind words Andy.

Garry,
I lke that! - are you thinking of another AFV?, or maybe trying another genre? Either way I'll be watching out for it!
Dave

Nice tidy build that. A good return to the tools.

Thank you Dave,
I really don't know what my next build will be. The Panhard was specifically chosen for a display, so now I am free to just choose whatever takes my fancy.
My interests are so varied, covering aircraft, cars, military and maritime, and I might even try a diorama one day.
Unlike so many on the forum, I have no stock whatsoever, so I am starting from a clean slate.
I am taking my time and looking at what others are building, and also what is available here in NZ, hoping that something will jump out at me.
Garry
