Wow!

What flavor is the pudding/gelee?

Seriously now, will you keep in the container or remove it from there?

Francesco

Only just caught up with this, how did I miss it?

Erm.... Wow! springs to mind, that is some superb work there, and in 1/72nd too. Very impressive.

It is out of the container Francesco I need to cut the lip away from the cast But that would mean lots and lots of sanding and polishing

real nice ,crusty body covered in coral and the turret looks just great left exposed to the weather for years, the diver came out real well also, seen happy

Hi Ian.

I asking myself...is easy to sand this kind of product? Leave marks or lose the transparency?

They say it can be sanded Polux as you would a canopy. I'm a little nervous to try it but I think I need to get rid of the lip left by the carton I used for the mould

i think you can cut it back useing a jigsaw with a fine blade,or buy hand with a coping /fine blade then sand it back,

and finely use wet/dry to get the shine back in, or ever give it a touch up with some resin painted on

hope that some help

The name of that resin would be worth knowing...

The clarity is great and it didn't turn it into a blob!

Great work!

Ian M

if you still have left over resin that you made the cast from use that, as as you saying some think else may meld it into a blob

best would be to test it on a bit off ,of cut and see how it go,s 1st or if it will bond with the other resin you used
