Nice choice Ian, Love the flip up headlights. Im not sure but do these have non slip surface molded?

Hi Aaron no it looks like i have to find a way to put it on

'Non slip surface' i hear you say (ok, i read it lol). Mask where you want the non slip and paint it in a gloss (doesn't matter about colour), then just sprinkle flour on top of the wet gloss. Unmask and hey presto, one non slip surface. Hope it helps Ian.

Ive seen non slip done with "sand" but idk if im allowed to post a link to another build on another model site.

To be honest it freaked me out when i saw him pouring sand onto his merkava, Thats how i found out that there was such a thing lol.

Im a modern afv novice.

Been a little slow with this one got the base all painted and put together. Some weathering to do but going to leave it for now going to try and put the nonslip on the turret and upper body

Ok to the non-slip. on close inspection there is a non-slip coating on the model, but when you paint it it's not noticable

So painted it with some grey enamel paint and sprinkled some plain white flour onto it
