Made a start on this one, drilled out the portholes and painted the inside silver to reflect the lights I’m putting in.

It’s the swooping to hit the high notes….a style of singing I detest, along with over wide vibrato just to get near the actual note……it just engenders histrionics, not real feeling. I think they should be made to listen daily to Judy Garland singing “Over the rainbow” until they get it…..she displays utter perfection in note choice and execution which in turn gives the song an unmatched and pure depth of feeling. Please don’t bring in the Eva Cassidy version in comparison. To me, it’s all mouth and trousers

I was planning to do it sinking, so the Iceberg would not be in shot. I know a cheep get out clause.
In for the build.
I keep meaning to build one of these for my wife. She has a fascination with Titanic, one of her family members was aboard when it sank. We went to the exibition in London last year, it was quite moving as it focused more on the people on board than the actual ship and accident.
The last exhibit was particularly sad. It was four black walls with the names and ages of the dead, one each for staff, 1st class, 2nd class and steerage.
The Staff, 1st and 2nd class walls had mostly male names, aged 18 and over. The fourth wall was by far the largest, and had the names of men, women and children. I think the youngest was just a year old.
Interesting fact, did you know Titanic had a swimming pool? I didn't until I saw the cutaway model they had built (which was about 5 feet long and pretty epic).

Added more colour to the ship, also changed the colour of the funnels.
