Today I've been working on the cockpit detail. Quite happy with what I've done.

Also I'm not happy with the figure, so I think I'll swap him for a 1/48 ME 109 pilot. I think it will work.

I'm not going to paint this the normal colours, I have an idea in my head for this one.

Ive got the cockpit put together now and started on the wings and tail boom.

If not glued the top wing on or the tail boom, I've just glued the backend together .

I've been slowly adding the turn buckles for the rigging, I'm about halfway through.
Also been working on the figure.

Hi Ian
Excellent progress. You're taming the beast. Figure looks to have worked out well. I like the turn buckles. There is certainly a lot of rigging on this.

Urrghh - what a kit. Don't know SMER (I assume they just do aircraft as not come across them with vehicles) but it looks about as good as the old Frog/Novo kits from yesteryear

You seem to be kicking it into shape though :thumb2:

That pilot has to be the worst figure - ever
