Love these ian , if theyre as nice as the texan then youre going to enjoy them . Mind you the tiny etched frets might need some serious magnification! I hope youre going to do the rigging too!! Cheers tony

They look like nice kits Ian. A WW1 dogfight sounds like fun... except for the rigging! ;)

They are not that big at 1/48 so brave man taking on 1/144:eek:

Should be good:)

Thanks Tony you did have to mention the rigging didn't you.

Oh my God, Ian!!!

1/144...? Why you don't try with a Wingnut Wings 1/32 models...?

Joking :D :D :D

Watching :)

It's a brave man Ian who takes these on at 1/144.

It's great that there are two kits per box as you can happily throw the first one at the wall when all that rigging becomes to much happily knowing there's another 1 in the box for a second attempt;)

Good luck cheers John

With the thick coats they wore and the helmets, just model a couple of Michelin Men out of blue tack and paint them. No one would know at that scale.  B|

nice progress Ian , i never thought about the pilots though. Maybe Brengun do some , i know they do a lot of pe for 1/144 stuff, failing that how about these  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5157-Modelscene-N-Gauge-Assorted-Unpainted-Figures-set-B-Pack-of-20-/251741224981?hash=item3a9cf24015:g:8o8AAOSwj0NUfen0

theyre N gauge figures for railways but they scale out to about 1/148 which is near enough , theres a couple in sitting positions too , hope this helps cheers tony
