I'm sure you will turn this into a gem Ian. Can't recall a kit that has beaten you yet. I think this might be based on the old Italeri mould? So should be not too bad.

I went and had a look through my parts box Ian. For some reason I thought I had some spare pilots but could only find one and he was walking with his crash helmet in his hand. Yours if you need it.

Kitech, not a manufacturer I've ever heard of, then I saw the box and realised why. Anyway, the box says it is an authentic scale plastic model kit, so how bad can it be ?
I got some pilots for this, with me going to display it in flight.
I’ve also got most of the body put together.

That's turning out well Ian.
Been slowly working on this one, plenty of gaps to fill, but on the good side of this kit, the connection points are panel lines on the real thing.
'Seams' like a lot of extra work Ian, but looks like you're doing fine, good luck and cheers
