Are gaps at wing roots common place or is it a rare occurrence? The starboard wing root look mahoosive!!!! (Thats big in Anglo Saxon)!! :smiling5:

I've found it varies a lot. I had similar wing root gap issues with this particular model, but others have been almost invisible.

I liked the stretch sprue tip, I’ve used strips of styrene sheet before for the same purpose but your method appeals to my inner miser :tears-of-joy:

That's me, late to the party again. But a good looking build anyway. I like P40's and I also like a desert scheme, and here's both together.
