First of all thanks Paul for getting this GB together, I had great fun building this kit. No real problems with it at all

Many thanks guys glad you all like this. I’m toying with the idea of putting it onto a small base.
 
That is a great result. Shows that these old kits can be made into eye-catching models.
 
Great work Ian. A great build of an unusual kit. Its amazing to think that this kit was released in 1960 just one year after the real hovercraft made its appearance and in the day it was like space age stuff of the future to us kids.

Small pebble beach similar to those South Coast trials beaches perhaps? ( (With 'suits' and engineers in attendance maybe?)

Great job Ian. Top prize for 'Most unique build' Your model does highlight something to me, there's no way I would want to be one of those pilots. An experimental craft, with its engine, just behind your head, never mind the noise.
