Looks as if this went on the Self of Doom with not much done. Should build into a nice model, quite big as well. And it has little helicopters :tongue-out3:

Well I’ve started on this again.
Got the lower deck all completed, now it’s ready for the hull sides,
and as you can see there’s a little warping.

Nice progress, slow down you'll make the rest of in this G,B look like slackers lol. Shame about that warping, guess glueing it around the deck will sort a lot out.

I have just got to that stage on mine and it needs a bit of jiggling to get it done
Got the hull sides and base on, not too bad a fit. But some work to do to get the seams sorted.
Also painted the deck and built 1 of the Harriers.

Got most of the super structure painted, also repainted the deck. The pictures of Illustious didn’t have a dark ramp colour like the Airfix callout.

I am just waiting to see how you handle all the flight deck decals
It shouldn't be long peter, I'm just about the paint the hull sides then I should be able to do the decaling before I fit the super structure.
Just had a catch up on this one. It’s coming along well Ian. Seems to be building fairly easily and the addition of colour is bringing it to life.
