Papa695s Trumpeter 1/35 LAV-III

comprehensive one Ian , looks a very comprehensive kit!
Like the addition of the signs and i ve never seen scale cardboard boxes included in a kit before ! Are you going green or white ?

I’ve now got all the undercarriage fitted, and also the rear end.

Well I think sometimes what’s the point, it must be just for parts count with some manufacturers.
this is what they have you doing.

Then they ask you to do this.

Ian, I agree I'm all for detail, but what is the point of making a part only to have it covered up completely. I guess it gives you the option of leaving the cover off

Just about got the lower and upper hull parts built. Just a few little parts that will be fitted after painting.

now it’s time to build the turret.
 
When I was an impoverished and easily bored teenager I used to select kits that had the most parts, so they'd keep me busy longer. I didn't care if those parts were visible or not.

That looks great Ian, not come across this kit before but might have to add it to the wish list.
 
Looking excellent Ian. Typical Trumpeter - lots of parts, many very small, which result in very nice detail.
 
I'm loving this. not a great Trumpeter fan but I may well be tempted now!
