You read the instructions!? Thats where Ive been going wrong then !! ;) ;) Seriously though Dave the instructions on some (most) of these russian kits are always a bit of a lottery , they are the same as this on my Polikarpov I-185 I'm building at the moment - just an exploded diagram and thats it , you're on your own son! The kit doesnt look badly moulded though , and are the tracks all separate plastic links !?o_O cheers Tony

Dave,

Don't be disappointed. What you need to do is sit back relax and study the instructions and sprues.then slowly work on the kit constantly checking the parts .

I'm sure this will build up into a nice model.

Far eastern kits have been like this for a while.I think it's maybe because you have done Tamiya kits then seen this kit.

You should have seen some of the resin ship kits that I have done with pretty much no instructions whatsoever.

Hey Dave, I know what you mean when it comes to Eastern European kits, terrible instructions, ill fitting parts, tons of flash and seams to clean up........But if you take you time and don't get frustrated

you will be fine;).....I built a T18, Svesda I think {awful} but I muddled through, then decided to graft some rocket racks on from another awful fitting kit. who's running gear I used to 'create' a halftrack {see "Why we love Russia #1" in completed dios.} hope you don't mind a pic, for some silly reason others do:confused:...........Jim:)
