Pesky dust and blowing it away

Had a few more thoughts on the dust problem, might be valid, but probably not.
To blow away dust I wonder if the compressed air in a can type duster used for keyboards would work?
Duster Can
I also have (somewhere) a mini dust vac like this Green Clean
Its primarily for the innards of digital cameras and attaches to a compressed air can.
Might give it a go for any dust particles in hard to reach places.

Think I might know where the problems lie? The stuff doesn't look like dust or hairs but look like tiny straight lengths of possibly fibres?

I use the green paper sheets you some times get in paper towel dispensers. Or general serviettes to wipe brushes in.

What is best to use??

Sounds like it could be lint from the paper you're using. Those types both break down quickly when wet.

I suppose the "best" would be a guaranteed lint free cloth like crows feet that we use in my trade. So called because of the pattern imprinted on it.

A bit rich for modelling though, I just use decent kitchen roll, the kind that holds together well when wet (Aldi power force ultra for me). It's not completely lint free but should be better than what you're using now.

The best defence against dust settling on models, is to put them under a clear cover, be it glass or clear acrylic, once done ---- NO further dust problem AT ALL.
