Pesky dust and blowing it away
Had a few more thoughts on the dust problem, might be valid, but probably not. To blow away dust I wonder if the compressed air in a can type duster used for keyboards would work? Tack Cloths are good for dust removal and between sessions model kept in a container. One of my wife's sealable plastic cake boxes is the latest choice. I reckon an airbrush with a decent psi could work, plenty of cheapo ones on Amazon. Don't recommend them for paint though, tried one just out...- LeytonO

At what point is your "stash" getting out of hand?

Nerdy Scale Model Spreadsheet, what to include?
I have a spreadsheet for my paints, mainly so I don't buy any duplicates. One for my stash wouldn't be very extensive, it only numbers five in total. Having anything outstanding to do drives me a bit crazy. So I complete one model then move on, decided six is the limit at any given time.- LeytonO

I had my final salary pension too and couldn't turn down a generous early leaver package. Always intended to go at about 55 so a golden handshake was a pleasant surprise- LeytonO

Hope the treatment goes well, I know exactly what you are describing. I also bought a fair few things as a diversion to stop me thinking too much about what might happen. Like a lot of hobbies it can be as expensive as you make it. I have a few good airbrushes, but only really need one and no doubt only a few good paintbrushes would suffice too. AK Citroen HY Van 1/35
Main parts put together, body and floor pan primed and base colour of Grey/Blue. Construction has stopped for now, my rotator cuff is rather worn and needs resting up. We try to get one of these wherever we visit, majority of places seem to have them. A nice cheap reminder of where we have been and colourful too. Here are ours, got a few more on another fridge, but this is the motherlode. -

I always put things back in there proper place, that way you know where they are when you need them. Also clean up equipment before putting it away, especially important i think with airbrushes. Grew up in a small flat so tidiness was important, our small 1800's cottage is the same in that respect. -
