Hi and good evening, as Paul has said a great show. more so as the one last ear had to be cancelled due to the weather, only for it to be fine on the Sunday. Thanks to Paul for a great day and lunch, and meeting more of the Spalding guys along with Ben aka yambam26 and his girl friend.

with out more ado.
First one up is Paul's recovery dio, complete with a judges mention, so well done to him.
The rest are in no particular order.

Nice bit of snow, and for Bob a flying Stug.

The next model was interesting a Rye Field with a full interior. Now we have often said about how best these are displayed, well this guy had used this.

Now I've not seen many Japanese planes , but came across a group of guys that were into Japanese planes in a big way.

A small group of miniatures , caught my attention , and thought Tim Marlow might like these.

Oh good you are shouting it's finished. Iv'e tried to give a good selection of the models on display.
Thoses right at the end are some more of Paul's great recovery model , and of his latest diorama with the jeep . ope yopu all found them interesting, and agree it was a great show, no doubt a lot of hard work done behind the scenes.Did I buy anything, no esp as some of the second hand were in the £35 to 40 range. One new massive model was priced at £ over 250 . Your having a laugh !!

Excellent reporting there John. Some intimidatingly good work on show. Good to see a few familiar pieces - well done to Scottie (deserved gold though).

HI John an a big thank you from me for takin an showing pics for us all to see an glad you enjoyed the day
chris

Looks like a great show. Lots of excellent eye candy. Great variety as well. I am always taken with the imagination some people have. Love that WW1 dio with the photo as the front face. Very novel way of displaying a tank interior - not sure it has worked but 10/10 for the idea.

Thanks John for the photos and also well done Scottie.

Paul,
Thanks mate. Yes there was, all scales and tastes were accounted for Armour, planes, figures, cars, boats, sci-fi, fantasy everything. So something for everybody and even if it's not your cup of tea you can appreciate the skill going into the builds.
