Wow, just caught up with this one Peter!
Looks a cracking project, I'll be watching intently,a good test of patience as well as various modelling skills

I had Just painted the saucer under side black and put white on top and without realising I had black on my fingers and you know what happened so I went to rub down said saucer section and it's time to leave it for a while otherwise I will make it worse than it already is.

Well I have managed to save it its alright from a far but not so good close up but I hope the aztecs will cover the mistakes.

Saucer dramas over time to turn my attention to preparing the saucer for the lighting here's the next on list

At last I finally have some paint on one of the naccelles and the instructions shows how they will be wired up.

I usually do the fingerprints with blood after fitting a new blade

WELL Done Peter the wirein will look great but in mine had a few more wires as i fited blue an green 3mm leds in my nacles so it gives the warp effect of the engines pulsating down the nacle but youre doin great

Great work peter and quickly too!!! All the boards, lights and wiring is way over my head though. I'm just enjoying you doing your thing...

Peter thats all the fun of the build an i notice you havnt painted black right to the edges as some bits on my big saucer i dint do that an got light leakes which in my opinion spoils the lighting effect

YES Jim it is a stunning model as ive got one all lit up an it looks great on the telly in the dark

I was just testing my leds in the naccelle I forgot to turn the voltage down to 3v and I blew 3 but no problem I do have replacements hanging around.

WELL Peter that why i fit in voltage reducer so this cannot happen as its easy done
