I have had this kit in my pile for a while,and I know there are a few that have been done so this is my take on it.


It also coincides with the airfix year book which happens to be doing a build on it so I will be using it as a guide

It's taken almost three go's at finishing the decels on the flight deck but i am pleased with the out come,I have just have to seal them off with some matt clear varnishView attachment 250949

This one gets done in between builds a bit at a time so it will be a long build

I just found this on the bottom of my pile I had forgotten all about it but here's what's been done.


The eight side bays have been finished off and the inflatables have been put on.


But I had a little disaster with the decals they went belly up when I put the matt coat on but i will put some aircraft on those spots so it won't show.

Here is the state of play before I rest this on for this year the top two sides went together without too much fuss there was some warping but not to much and I have made a start on the upper section

Time for a long awaited return for a bit more work this time I have tried one of the sealing helicopters and I have done a winter camo I think it looks OK
