Petes Heller 1/24 brabham bt33

Wow, you got the exhaust pipes on and lined up correctly … I started on that the other day on my Tyrrell, and couldn’t get them to fit properly. I ended up building the rear frame that includes the ends of the exhaust pipes first, so that once that’s dry I can try again, but with two points of contact.

That's the engine and gearbox finished save for the exhaust and a few small bits IMG_20240606_172134.jpg

Definitely in pole position and leading the pack. Great progress and neatly done.

That is really coming along and at record speed Pete. Nice color and the motor is great too! But, you and Stefan need to slow down a bit. We still have 75 laps to go in the race Sir...

Looks awesome and that Ford DFV looks superb! I'm a massive fan of 60's and 70's F1 cars. (I just hate the fact that the kits are soooo expensive)

All finished I will get proper pics later but here's a taster I don't know how the decals will hold but with my experience with them not very good but will see IMG_20240608_191721.jpg

And the winner is .........
Seriously though a cracking build of a classic racer, well done.

Blimey that was quick.

Nice finish Peter. I always like this type of racer. One thing though is if you would sand those tires that would give it more “Pop” but it’s fine the way it is. I just like sanding my tires a little gets rid of that glossiness on the tread. Just a thought

That WAS quick Pete. 2.5 months left in the GB, plenty of time for another couple of builds. :D
