Pete's Humbrol Tempest

Nice work Pete. Don't you love it when all the instructions are on one page - a true sign of a classic kit.

I had to simplify the masking scheme a little as it's really difficult with my tremor, but I think it looks OK. I laid out the pattern with Tamiya tape for curves then filed in with normal Tamiya tape. Undercarriage wells were filled with white tack so I need to dig that out.

Thanks Joe. It's not so good now - remind me to not use blue tak to mask wheel wells in future. The detail in the wells has trapped some tak in the corners. Couldn't get it all out so I'll paint over it.

You could try some sticky tape in the wheel wells to pick out the Blu tack, or a toothpick, with a dollop of fresh sticky tack on the end is another option.

Tried both those Joe, without much success. Also tried washing it out with white spirit - no effect, then lighter fuel, which dissolved the blu tak but also the paint.
