Hi on to the boats fender tyres & chains.

I have removed the white rod and replaced it with flat card as decorative trim to hide molding defects.

Thank you for looking in.

I couldn't sleep last night so got the priming done, will have to do a second coat ( all done with a H/S I know I've missed some but the drugs I'm on make me shake so have not done the windows)

Thank you again for looking in.

QUOTE="beowulf, post: 387327, member: 2557"]very bright!

looking good, ive often considered this kit and chickened out[/QUOTE]
Hi Paul it's a nice kit to build, worth a shot it's just the colour, if you spray, it might be a idea to prime it first it does do your eyes in.
Pete.

as said, that red is a bit over bright, looks so much better, with primer on,
do real like the tyres & chains. what a great idea, where they hard to, find and
maybe of help to me and other do you have a link to them ,Please,:smiling:

Agree with the rest, looks great with primer. In red it reminded me of a jelly sculpture LOL

Hi Pete
Looks much nice having got rid of the red. The molded on detail, especially the ropes on the deck, are going to be fiddly to paint. I sanded them all off on mine as mine was a 'wreck'.

Hi Monica I got the tyres from *HERE*. The ones I used were 12.5mm.
The chains came from "HERE" Its a great shop and is only 5 miles up the road from me.
Hope this helps.

Hi Pete,,
Scaling off of your 1-2-3 block I'm guessing your tug is somewhere between 8&9 inches long? Do you have plans for a crew? Looks GREAT so far.:thumb2:

Pete  wearing one patch is bad enough, but sunglasses as well ! Glad that parts over, was it a in joke to mould it in red ?
Certainly looks good with the additions, and the primer.
I can move down to front row and sit with the Seafairer group , Captains Jim and Richard.
John

The guys have said it all. Wonderful additions. Your weathering skills will set this build off well

Hi I had forgoten all about this one the good lady dug this out for me so blame her, so out came the hairy turbo sticks and roughed out the main colours. I've used white as a primer to cover the it will be more of a cream colour.

This only roughed out in the main colours. WIP.

I

Panits / colour used.

Thank you for looking in.
Old Puffer Pete.

I have a colour chart (Which I constantly lose) to give the dried on colour of each paint pot. I never thought of just painting the tops. I will use that great idea of yours if I may Pete. Stunning paint job on the tug. Look forward to seeing the next steps.
