So I'm calling this one finished and it's my second finished model since I was a kid.
It should have been a Me262 but for waiting for a canopy (which I now have).
I purchased a Sword 1/48 Wildcat/Martlet for next to nothing which had a lot missing so I got hold of the FM2 kit on ebay.
All I used in the end was the resin chair from the Sword kit, some Eduard PE for the office and some Martlet decals from Eurodecals (which where nice and tidy on first glance but a tad thick I think) to make the conversion - "Wanda" JV735 "Q.W" of No 853 Naval Air Squadron HMS Queen circa 1945
The build went pretty well really apart from my recent lack of time, I found using the bare metal method for the canopy masking worked well so will definitely be doing that from now on.
I also used this kit for new different weathering techniques (some I will use again some not) as I am still trying to learn as much as possible.
Vallejo Model Air used along with more Tamiya this time which I find is very very good.
Copper wire used for antenna, looks neat I think but maybe a little thin.
All comments and criticisms welcome as always.
Cheers
Phil
