Hi all

As you may have noticed, this is a bit late......apologies.

Without doubt one the most famous names in the British and indeed the worldwide aircraft industry from the first half of the 20th Century is de Havilland - who of course produced some of the world's most famous aircraft and one the greatest of all time in the Mosquito.

For those not in the know, the De Havilland Museum (just off the very north edge of London) is not a big one but has some interesting and in some cases unique exhibits, all of course about the de Havilland company and it's aircraft - link www.dehavillandmuseum.co.uk/.

It also hosts a model show each year, which our club attends. Luckily, as the club is there, any club member exhibiting with the club gets in free, with us sitting right in amongst the exhibits!!

Below are selection of taster shots from this year's show - sorry for the quality of some but the quality of the lighting is very variable.

The link to the usual album is: www.flickr.com/gp/139640818@N02/70AU78F6Y1

Unfortunately, the way the show is laid out gets in the way of getting some decent shots, so I will go back there at some point.

Hope you enjoy.

All the best.

Andrew

First up a 1:1 scale representation......last year the doors where fully open, so you could see it in all it's majesty.

Some scale models.....the first of which is my personal favourite....

This one was entirely scratch built!!

And finally....this person clearly had a thing with the 'zwilling' concept....real or 'what if'.....each to there own......

Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Some really nice builds there. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Wabble

Love the photos, some superb work there (especially the 'tongue in cheek' ones!) Thanks Andrew
