Hi guys!

I'm late too, but here I am!

My model for this SIG is the Hummer M1114 of Bronco Models at 1/35 scale.

Looks a nice kit with photo-etched parts, vehicle accesories and decals for four versions paint.

Here you have the pics of the sprues, instructions and box.

I have (we have) five months, I will try to do a nice model with open doors, like David (plastickitbashers), with some Irak atmosphere and figures....

Looking for something, we have 5 months and 11 members at work!! We can do a very interesting and differents models!

Ps: how you call here when a car is damaged? Is RIP on the road without gasoline or similar?

Nice start Polux, it is inevitable that we will all start with virtually the same pictures. After the chassis and floor pan, it all gets interesting lol

Hi guys!

I have finished the chasis now.

Like Graham says.... "the most interesting is coming now...", and I have to say, I'm afraid about it!!

I'm trying to do a plan for build the Hummer, the interior looks very complet and will be very difficult to paint it if I glued all the kit, need to do in "parts".

Ps. In this model, I have to drill all the holes in the floor pan... they aren't!!!

Those wheels look a lot better than the rubber tyres that come with the Academy kit Polux, nicely detailed tread. Looking good!

And they look a thousand times better than the two bits of plastic for the Italeri kit

It looks like a very nice kit. I must say that I have been impressed with the Bronco stuff I have built so far.

If you have not found the word for your out of petrol and left at the road side: Breakdown or broken down would work. Abandoned is more if left and never to be returned to. Or if its crashed it could be a wreck.

All three can be summed up in one word; Ford. :laughing:

Hi guys.

This weekend I work hard with it. (remember I very slow modeller :) .... ).

Decided I will paint it in parts. The first will be the chasis and the interior cabin.

EP glued, all the pieces masked and ready to paint, like the wheels. And the first coat of primer too. (Vallejo German grey).

The next is do the sand color on the chasis and cabin, and then weathering they.

Hello All.

Ok, I start the cabin.

I do it with the hair spray method ;) the weahering is a bit "heavy", but is what I'm looking for. The desert, the war and the sand are not a good friends of a military car...

The first idea is show the Hummer in a little base or dio, with figures in a time rest and all the doors opened.

Next step is barnish the cabin and apply filters and washes. And glue all the separeted interior pieces!
