Started to build a Tamiya model of a 1966 Beetle ( my first car after passing my test in 1978). Only got back into modelling recently after about 40 years. I have a question that maybe someone will help with. Back in the day I'm pretty sure the instructions would tell you if you needed not to glue certain parts. I am on the wheel assembly with poly caps involved, so I am assuming these are not glued. Can anyone confirm this?

Many thanks

George.

Yep, gluing poly caps doesn't end well, I expect most of us has done it at some point?

Miko (leaving out poly caps can be equally frustrating!)

Or in my P47 build, not finding the poly cap that is supposed to be included.

no they don't require adhesive however i glue them anyway as i don't have the wheels rotating

Tamiya along with most manufacturers, do usually have the info in the instructions, regarding what to glue, what not to glue, what to cut, where to droll holes, etc..... Cheers
