A bit of a quick one before the next GB starts.

This was a free .stl file that I printed out, using about a fivers worth of resin. It's a bit rough (what can you expect for free ) but it'll suit the final look.

I changed the roof rack a bit as I'll be adding more stuff up there, plus I added the "pipe tube".

After some primer it got sponge painted in various rust colours, then received a coat of satin varnish to lock it all in.

Looks great but a little worried that the cubic capacity of the engine might struggle to pull the armour plating !!!

Love these post apocalypse vehicles. So much scope for one's imagination.
Print looks good, especially for free. Nice start. I reckon they've shoe horned a V8 in there somehow

I've done a bit more painting but to be honest I'm getting bored with it already




Maybe it's down to the weather, or it may be that I'm preoccupied. Next week, my brother & I are taking on the National 3 peaks challenge. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in 24hrs. It's only ~23 miles of walking but lots of ascent!
There's also the 462 miles of driving in-between, which my wife is doing the lions share of.

I've been getting my kit together, pretty much to cover all eventualities as it could be blazing sun, pouring rain, or even snow!
