I was wondering if any others are experiencing delays in the post. I understand that the UK got a heap of snow thrown at it the other day, so I am assuming that this might be causing problems.

I have been waiting for a packagge from Hannants, (sorry John) the confirmation email says it was sent the 14th March, 11 days ago, so its getting to the nail biting stage...

So do I relax and wait or panic and try getting hold of Hannants...... It was sent small packet air mail with out tracking so if its gone Im stuffed!

Well I s'pose I'll give it a couple of days then. Humph! This is not doing my Phantom build any favours.

My brother in law is a Postie and they've been told they can only do the town deliveries, which sucks for him because he normally goes around the farms and villages, plus, there are some roads that are still blocked with snow...

Now In Denmark we have the saying "sne og slud, posten skal ud!" which roughly translates to "come snow or sleet the post goes out!"

However if you have not cleared the snow from your path, they can chose not to deliver it. (or if your name isn't on the box). Talking of post boxes. Were not allowed to have letter flaps in the front door any more. A post box by the path so the lazy buggers dont need to get off their bike!! LOL.

Oh I would like to say thank you to the UK for taking that snow storm off our hands.....:-/ It was forecast to hit us but at the last moment it hung a right due to a change in the air currents coming over the Alps. I was wondering where it went.

We have had snow almost all the time since January, but it dont get to build up as it falls, settles then melts or blows away before the next lot. A few places in Jutland got a foot or two but the Copenhagen area got off lightly, with between six inches to a foot.

So come on with the snowy photos of you all playing in the snow...

when i started 18 years ago we went out in all weathers snow as bad and worse and we also used to say "sne og slud, posten skal ud"but them days have long gone so sad but progress is the buzz word

11 days is extraordinary. We haven't had UK-wide snow for that length of time. I think you should chase Hannants.

If it was sent 11 days ago it would have left the county long before the snow got here, Hannants probably won't do anything for at least 15 working days as per Royal Mails claim procedor. You do know it would have got to you in good time if you had ordered it from me ;)

Thank You John :-P I am standing in the corner feeling well and truly scolded! T'was a moment of weakness and I didn't want to bother you with a rush job. Next order from them is with you.

Any way.... the pack was in the post box when I got home from work!! Yeah! I'll pop a few pictures up in the build thread later.
