discussion Query about decal fix...

I recently bought a bottle of decal set & soften from John. I understand that paint has to have 5 days to cure before use, but how long does a coat of clear need before I can put the decals on? Thanks in advance.

If it's SC Johnsons Klear then i leave it 24hrs then apply decals. My paint is only given 24hrs to dry too. I tend to use Tamiya, Xtracrylixs and Vallejo with no adverse effects. Or do you mean another product?

Thanks Alan. I use Johnson's klear and revell paint.
