Looks good Alan .It amazes me how some of the forum members manage to get such realistic water effects.

Cheers Dave , the way i use is maybe the simplest way of doing it although messy , I just use clear silicon then smooth it over with the back of a wet spoon , then just touch it in places with a dry spoon and lift off to make peaks on the waves , then just paint the tops white ,

The colour is just sea green painted on the board you use :)

That's really good Alan, the only ship I've built was a Bismarck one by Matchbox when I was 10! Yours looks so much better! The water effect is excellent for such a simple technique.

Cheers Patrick

Cheers folks I appreciate the kind words :)

Rob I might just paint it black but it's like a PVC plastic Si might need to get a different paint as acrylic won't take to it

Great work Al, looks superb and the sub just adds to it. Well done on the scratch building mate.

Si:)

Great build Alan, Nicely sculpted sea scape, and the ship and submarine are well done too.

Yeah!! I like it Alan!

The water effect is excellent, I'm agree with Dave, there are some members here that do the water perfectly

Cheers Ron pleased you like it , I might have a look to see it I can get a 1/350 scale hipper and do a similar dio this was great to do because of space limitations but I've decided to turn the box room into a display area so I can work on bigger projects :)
