Hi......after a considrable amount of time, I have finally finished something !! This is the very basic Airfix kit, with the Eduard PE interior set ( made for the Hasegawa version, I think ), Squadron canopy and some scratch-built additions.

Working with the PE and vacform canopies was a first for me, the latter of which took 3 attempts, and nearly cost me my eye-sight !!!

But it was all good fun, and I'm quite pleased with the result. The base is the Verlunden one - I'm not that impressed with it tbh, but I may chop it around and make a proper mounting out of it.

On to the next one...........so I'll see you around Christmas, then.................

Eh now hang on, I regard myself as one of the slowest builders around here, but it looks like I've got competition - Welcome to my world !

Anyway, nice clean model you've made there, old Airfix are not always the easiest to get a good result from but you've done well here.

Regards

Colin M.......

Hi neil, excellent result! , Ive watched this with interest and youve made a brilliant job of it, all the work youve done was worth it. At the mo im not the fastest builder either, but what matters is the end product, and you should be chuffed with this one. cheers tony

Thanks for the comments, chaps......all your work is a constant insperation!

Colin, I'm in negotiation with SWMBO to get a dedicated workspace, so your crown should be safe !!

Cheers, Neil

Well done, that's very nice and well worth the effort. Model building isn't a race (thank heaven!) so I'll be checking in for your next one.

Cheers

Steve
