This was a horrible build but not do to the kit just my silly errors

The kit

Is a nice easy setup all parts fit quite well although the fuselage can be fiddley lining up the nose to the main body and I feel that a simple two part setup would have been better as the wings fit in grooves on ether side but apart from that it is a good kit

My mistakes

I got the grey wrong when mixing the colour and it is too light

The silver underside is something I struggle with but it didn't help with me getting the aluminium and steel lids mixed up so when I came to dry brush I put steel on instead of the aluminium and had to spend a full day dry brushing this out

This is a tail sitter and you have to put 40 grams in the nose and the space didn't allow anything I had so I will stick this on a simple base to sort that out.

I like it Al, knowing the issues you have had I think you're kicking yourself-it may not be 100% what you're after but it doesn't look bad at all. Well done for sticking with it, if it was me I wouldn't have posted it and it would have been sat at the back of a shelf.

Thank you Polux mate I appreciate it , I've give it a coat of gloss vanish and it seems to have evened out the paintwork

Colin it looks ok on the photo but in reality it's much too light it should be darker but I mixed to much light grey into it
