Hi guys!!


My wife is a big fan of the finnish rockband "Sunrise Avenue". So I made her a special gift to our wedding anniversary this year. It's a Boeing Stearman in 1/48 scale from Revell/Monogram built as "The Sunrise Avenue Flyer". The model has a good fit and nice details. I built it out of the box. The decals are selfmade and the tensioned wire is made of stretchable yarn ("Rig that thing").
I hope she'll like it??!!

Fantastic work Stefan , your wife is going to love it ! A  great build and top work making your own decals and paint scheme, those scalloped edges on the blue must have been very tricky! A superb creative build , cheers tony

Thanks for your comments. And yes......my wife was very delighted about the little plane......and immediatly she had to send some images of the stearman to the band via Instagram.....
