I developed an unhealthy fascination with these Mistel's a few years ago. Like most people I thought that they were just a bizarre and desperate sign of a defeated regime grasping at straws but in fact they were much more effective than that. Given a few more months of development they could have become a serious nuisance. Imagine large numbers accurately targeting the D Day invasion fleets for example. They also incorporated some very advance concepts both in their control systems and their war heads.

Work on the 190 was going well until the wings went on its got gaps at the roots and when the under carridge covers go on the wheels have to go in as it does look odd but its not in the plane and they will have to be sanded in order to have the covers flush.

Other than that its going well.

I like this one. Mistels are pretty rare subjects for builds, and apparently the revell one is one of the best kits around.

Here we go for part 2 the first thing to do was to remove the front cockpit.

As from the pics the main parts are almost ready to be united, also the plans show weight in the engine naccells but there is plenty of room in the nose cone.

but the weird thing with this one is that there is the parts to build a complete bomber including the cockpit glass but not the plans.
