Rick's "Cobbled" Kfz. 70 M.B. L1500

Thanks Allen.........I will continue to "Rack" my brain over this little problem but will get a resolution one way or the other. :thumb2: Rick H.
Oh you'll solve it, I have every confidence in that, and it'll look brilliant (as ever!)

I've used armature wire w/some success as it is stiffer than individual wires from multi-conductor insulated wire. PaulE

I have the wire problem solved, its the clamps and buckles that show if you don't have rifles in the racks. I may have to put rifles on board just to hide obvious. ;) Rick H.

Rick,
Lovely work mate, The rifle racks weren't easy in 1/35 so I will be impressed with what you come up with whatever it is.

Before proceeding with the final assembly, I thought I would check my body work to see if it needs further attention......after primer it looks fairly decent, so not much filling and sanding left to do. Rick H.P1011847.JPG

Thanks Scottie, I was certainly motivated by your project......just needed to make the sacrifice in kits to get it going. Rick H.

Hi Jim, glad you like it and yes, it does look a little more homogenous now that it's not looking so freakish. Rick H.

Hi Lee, soon as I get the last bit of detailing done I plan to do just that......stay tuned. Rick H.

Paint on! sorry about the delay but had family visiting from out of town and took up all my spare time.......did not get the rifle rack issue solved so will have to find a couple of Mausers to sort of hide the obvious. Detail painting up next. Rick H.P1011856.JPG

Thanks Lee, I'm actually more "jazzed" about the Borgward B 3000 I posted on: "What's on the Bench" thread as it has eluded me for years and I am finally able to turn one of these out as I have always liked this truck. It just blows me away that model makers in 1-87 scale have largely ignored this truck that was produced by the thousands for the Wehrmacht..........what are they thinking??? Rick H.
