I have an Eduard 1/48 Mig 21-PF I am going to make into a North Vietnamese - exterior is bare metal finish but the instructions show interior green or grey for wheel wells, office etc. Anyone know for sure what it would be, I can't imagine the NV would have changed this from as shipped from USSR.

I agree, cannot see why extra time and energy would be used in re-painting the internals. I would just go as is.

Si:)

The early mig interiors were grey. The nasty green/blue interior came well after Vietnam on the latest mig 21. So if you are building Vietnam mig 21PF it will be grey interior.

I'd go with the grey /green for the wheel wells and the bright turquoise for the cockpit Neil. Some early 21's also had the interior of the airbrakes and sometimes the wheel wells in a mustard yellow colour too. for the grey/green i usually use vallejo no 70973 light sea grey and for the cockpit no 70808 blue green, hope this helps cheers tony

I did some work on paints for the mig 21PF ready for my "Eduard" build ....... I thnk, and I might be worng, the nasty Blue green is ....

INTERIOR GREEN 70.838 EMERALD (I'll check for sure tonightas I have some) ........ Personally, I'm going with Grey as it matches up with the Eduard cockpit PE .......

Also, I worked out some paint colours based on alternatives to the MR HOBBY clours given in the destruction for the Eduard kit ...... Don't take it as gospel but I hope this helps.
