The BAE Hawk T1's that have always been a pleasure to see flying around down here are leaving our local airbase, RNAS Culdrose.

I wasn't aware of the reason until I checked the local news but they were giving it the absolute beans across the sky this afternoon. Proper full chat, white exhaust ports, low level stuff. Never seen the like of it.

Turns out they were doing a final blast around Cornwall before retirement. It's 25 miles by road from ours to Penzance, maybe a couple less as the crow flies. Takes 45 minutes in the car, took them about 3 minutes.

IT sure is if when we are out an a nice young lady walks pasts jen looks at me to see where my eyes are pointing an even if im not looking round i still get that steely glare from her lol yes it is a cant win situation lol

WELL i learned my lesson with jens steely eyes look but one day in the city when she was in a shop an i was let lose an as i was walking down the crowed street full of doly birds an i just had to look back at one passing an i walked straight into a yellow an black zebra crossing post an talk about seein stars an contsertlations goin round worst part though she see me through the shop window an she laughed all afternoon an even now she remembers as when im drivein she look to see if im looking in the mirror lol
