Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on some fine sand (or something that looks like sand) for a 1/76 diorama I'm working on.

Hi julian , welcome to the forum. For a very fine sand you could use block paving sand( although it only comes in big bags for about £6 at wickes) or ive used bird sand ( for pet budgies etc) which is only about a quid at wilkos or similar. , hope this helps cheers tony

I also use budgie sand which I put through a flour siev to remove the larger grains and grit. It maybe better to use reptile sand in a smaller scale as its a lot finer.
I know that places like pets at home sell 5kg sacks for less than a tenner

Try the stuff pet shops sell for chinchillas to dust-bathe in.

the term you are looking for is Kiln Dried Sand

the good thing about is that it is uniform sized grains, no bits in it
