The rough sections have now had a pre shade.

Next some work on the gates pre coated with VJ wood and then when dry oils were used to give some depth. Still work to do though.

Some of the iron work has been added but again still work to do.

Up your game?
Omg there's no hope for us mere mortals then.
wow

Looking excellent as usual, might be the dark pics but I personally think it needs a bit of pointing work on the arch, It just stood out to me. Or was that the detailing you mention? ( I should read things properly lol)

Cheers Mark, I had missed that thank you.

Late in Paul, but I've been watching all along. Whenever I want to comment, the post is gone and I'm lousy at searching for it my friend. Sucks to be old, but you seem to have a thing for this blue foam stuff and always make something phenomenal out of it. Your woodworking skills are also to be appreciated. JR giving you lessons??? This is going to be just GREAT!!!!!

Hi Scottie
Name on the gates looks good. Distressed render has worked very well especially around the window - that third photo is ultra realistic.

Cheers Allen, I do like this blue foam and enjoy trying things, as tp the woodwork I have picked up some good tips from the old timer ;)

A little bit more done. The down pipe is made from ally tube and the gutter from pewter as are the fittings. This was then sprayed grey black and rusted with standard rust pigments.

I have also started remaking the base/street as I wasn't happy with the cobbles. I will post a picture later.

The individual items are now secured in place. Now the fun bit of weathering and blending all together.
