Thanks Paul, I'm not sure mate as the starting handle was placed through the front towing pintle to my knowledge but I'm sure someone will know. I just had a look on line and I believe that it had an inertial flywheel which you could wind up to start the engine so I think the tube gave access to this.Dandy detail work. I've not seen some of the detail on the left fender before. Do U know its' use?
