discussion Seaking HAR 3 XZ592 info needed

Does anyone know of anywhere I can find a detailing kit for Seaking HAR3 XZ592, in particular the IFF fairings for the nose and tailboom? I don't fancy scratch builing them to be honest.

XZ592 was a bit of an oddball in the UK HAR3 fleet as it sported a grey paintjob and these fairings while it was at D' flight 202 squadron before going for major servicing. My profile pic is of me on the transmission deck while doing a MRGB change in Benbecula.

Hi Ian,

The scale would help - it's 1/72. I have an idea for a future diorama project with XZ592 and ZE370 on the SAR dispersal. I have looked at this site before and although the Sea King detailing kits look useful it doesn't appear to include the IFF fairings that 592 used to have. Also the GSE is not the correct type.

It looks like a finickity filing and shaping job is on the cards!
