Sorry about the downtime over the past few days, it didn't go as smootly as I would have wanted, but everything should be ok now.

I've moved the forum out of the community directory as it wasn't needed and I think that was causing problems, you might need to clear your browsers cache, if you are unsure how to do it this site will help you

http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/

I've had to remove the old gallery but have added another that is better integrated with the forum, you can access it from the media tab, quite a few new features in it, you can even tag members just like Facebook.

I'm working on how to move all the old gallery pictures to the new one, it's not quite ready to use as it needs some categories.

I've also removed tapatalk, it was causing some errors and didn't really think it was needed as the forum is mobile friendly anyway.

Well done John and sorry for spamming your FB with questions and comments. I hope they were more a help than a hindrance.

Sorry to put a spanner in the works.

Posted ok earlier, then tried to get back on the forum from my favorites page.

Just got a page full of numbers/letters, had to type in SM on my web browser.

Told site may be broken etc

took 3 attempts before I got to this page.

I came across a few hiccups but figured you'd get it sorted - and you have. Good on yer John!

Update your bookmark, the url should now just be www.scale-models.co.uk and not www.scale-models.co.uk/community

So the albums we had created need to be recreated John, or will you bring the content from those across to the new format?

If you are using a 'pinned' bookmark, you can delete the old one once you get the new page up and then drag and drop the latest page in place of the old one. Worked for me :)

I'm looking for a way to bring everything across, because the "old" gallery was a 3rd party add on it seemed to be causing quite a few errors, the new one is made by the same people that make the forum software so is much better integrated.

Thanks for your Stirling efforts john this was and is the best site on the net bar none, I have to say I appreciate all your efforts.

Regarding the shop if you continue to supply what I want at the same price I will buy solely from you.

Thanks again for a great site.
