Hi Everyone, I don't know if this is a diarama or not? Anyway, I bought the cast iron barrel in a junk shop for 50p ages ago then recently decided to do something with it. I cut all the planks from pieces of 2x1 pine on my bandsaw. It's made using nails, bits of string, bent wire, b-b-q sticks, pieces of mahogany, cotton wool and a bit of black satin paint and satin varnish, the cannon balls are beads with the holes filled with plaster and sanded round then painted satin black. The deck base is plywood edged with mahogany and green baize stuck underneath.

Here's some pics.

Superb piece of work Geoff, puts me to shame when I am proud of sticking bits of pre moulded plastic together. Very talented work.

That looks really good. HMS Victory? (4½lb cannon with King George's crest kind of a give away).

For some thing not only built from scratch, but also from scrap it is a little work of art.
