Ian you could get the train from the airport to Wolverhampton then a taxi I think you will find this a cheaper alternative as I feel you would be right in assuming the taxi fare will be as expensive as the flight especially in a black cab

i will be there with wirral ipms this year, so come and say hi, will see you lot under the wing as usual anyway,at least we cant get the wrong wing like the meet up at telford where i waited at the wrong cafe lol.. tjhats unless the cosford boys have found another vulcan for their collection. i beleive our tables will be in hangar 2 near the tsr2 if any one wants to have a wander over. by the way dave, i think i ate rons eccles cakes last year.

Ok you lucky people, its only a week or so now till the Shropshire Model Show at RAF Cosford http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/cosford/whats-going-on/events.aspx , I'll be there and I'm sure a good few others , we normally meet up under the wing of the Vulcan at 12 o clock to have a chat and eat biscuits and cake! Its a fantastic event and free too , only costs are for parking (£3 all day , or theres a park and ride) Have a look at the link and if youre interested lets have a show of cyber hands so we know who to look out for (or avoid LOL!!) cheers Tony
